Homage to a great soul

Dear AHA Friends
We mourn the death of our beloved friend Mr Deepak Rai. He was pillar of strength of AHA, in true sense mother to the academy. He left for the heavenly abode on the 16th of Feb, after fighting bravely his prolonged illness. The universe has unique and subtle ways of recognising people who have contributed significantly, such as this occasion. The almighty embraced Deepak on the same day as the AHA Foundation day…. Thus ensuring that whenever we talk of AHA awe cannot forget mentioning his contributions.Late Mr Deepak Rai
May god bless his soul.
In our Sanatan dharma it is said that man who leaves for heavenly abode on Ekadasi Shuklapaksh with sun in uttarayan reaches straight to Vaikuntadham, and has no rebirth; as is for our beloved Deepak!
He remains with us always and lives through AHA as his extended family.
Starting from a small desk and a typewriter in the library of Department of Hospital Administration AIIMS New Delhi he ran the business office of this organisation with a missionary zeal and enthusiasm.
At least 15 batches of MHA at AIIMS would have closely interacted with him and taken help for thesis work.
He has ensured that the AHA meets all compliances be is taxes, companies act or any local regulations single handedly.
He was one man army as a manager, business development executive, course coordinator, facility manager , store in charge, and many other roles that he willingly and smilingly played.
A very respected personality among all be it the founding members of AHA or newly joined associates he was always available to all.
Deepak, as he was fondly known will always shine in our hearts and is now synonymous with thought of AHA.
He bravely fought against cancer and continued to perform duties till very recently when his health condition demanded for him not to venture out of home.
A dedicated sole with perfect integrity and commitment we all owe a lot to him at AHA.
Deepak you are ever shining in our hearts. We salute you
Jai Hind!
Om Shanti, Shanti Om
