Dear AHA Members,
I am pleased to share the highlights of the one day symposium held jointly with IMA at new Delhi on 29th April 2017 at the IMA house.
The event was very well attended and discussions and deliberations culminated into a resolution which has been approved by IMA for circulation to all their members as well. IMA has also assured to take up the same with other relevant authorities. In fact Delhi High court has already taken a suo moto cognizance on the issue, post this symposium.
I appeal to all members (at least those locally available) to please contribute through their participation, papers or any other means as deemed fit. This time although registrations were in good numbers from Non AHA side very few AHA members tuned up even after having been individually contacted on telephone.
AHA is planning another day long symposium on subject of "Rising Trust deficit in Medical profession" in July 2017.
We will be soon sharing the date and venue.
This time we request all Chapters for the following.
- Nominate at least one speaker
- One Poster presentation from each chapter
- We will circulate the draft program in advance and invite inputs. Same be timely provided
- Should there be a person of eminence known to the chapter they could also be introduced to AHA Hq for inviting them as Panelist.
I also appeal to all chapters to organize a similar one day or half day event on such topics of general importance at respective locations. Support needed (including financial assistance) could be intimated on or before 28th May so that the same could be deliberated at the BoE.
